Paul-Michael Keichel is an attorney at Cullinan and Associates, who has been involved in cannabis re-legalisation efforts since 2009 and, in 2013, took on the brief of the ‘Dagga Couple’. He then went on to run the ‘Trial of the Plant’ in 2017 to contribute to and note Ras Prince’s Privacy Judgment in 2018.  

Nabeelah Mia is an attorney at Lawyers for Human Rights and has worked at the South African Institute for Advanced Constitutional Law and Centre for Environmental Rights.  Her interest in this area lies in examining a human rights response to cannabis and drug use outside of the criminal system. 

Adriano Esterhuizen is a partner in the Dispute Resolution Practice at Webber Wentzel. He is an expert in local government law, constitutional law and environmental law. He has contributed to cannabis lobby groups and has advised on creating an enabling regulatory framework for cannabis.
